LIVING UNDER GOD’S BANNER (FLAG)

Man has a celebratory nature that seems to have been inbred within him right from the time of conception.  We celebrate a new life at birth and each year following.  We party to bring in a new year.  We party on Valentine’s Day.  We party on St. Patrick’s Day.  We party on April 1st.  We party on the May 24th weekend.  We party to welcome spring and summer.  We party Independence Day.  We party on the Queen’s Birthday.  We party Labour Day weekend.  We party at Thanksgiving and on Veterans Day.  We party during the Christmas season.  Then there are weddings, anniversaries, retirements, etc.  There are Stag and Does and bridal showers.  The list seems to be endless.
